Only Screen Time can quiet other apps on iPhone. Focussimo asks for it once, during setup. Apple then gives it opaque tokens for the apps you choose, so Focussimo can silence them without ever knowing which apps they are. If you declined, turn it on in Settings › Screen Time, or open Focussimo › Settings › Screen Time access.

Silence a few quiets only the apps you pick. Allow a few quiets everything except the apps you keep open. Phone and essential system apps always stay reachable. Screen Time keeps apps open one by one, so picking a category keeps open the apps in it.

You'll see Focussimo's piano-black screen, marked Tacet, until the session ends. Tap the button to close the app and carry on.

Turn on Intermissions on the home screen to work in rounds, for example four rounds of 25 minutes with 5-minute breaks. During an Intermission your apps are open; when it ends, they go quiet again.

Yes, always. Tap Stop focus and confirm. The session is saved as Unfinished. Stopping is never behind a paywall.

Only on your iPhone. Focussimo has no accounts and doesn't sync your sessions to a server. Every session is recorded from day one, so if you get Pro later, your earlier history is already there.

With Focussimo Pro: touch and hold the Home or Lock Screen, tap Edit and add Focussimo. For the toggle, open Control Center, tap +, then Add a Control › Focussimo. Shortcuts and Siri actions appear in the Shortcuts app automatically. Focussimo › Settings has step-by-step instructions for each.

Purchases are tied to your Apple Account. To restore Pro on a new iPhone, open Focussimo › Settings › Restore purchases. To cancel or change a subscription, open Focussimo › Settings › Manage subscription, or go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
